Spring Release Wines:

2021 Cabyrah
Blend of 60% Syrah and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 15 months in primarily French and American Oak with a hint of Hungarian Oak. Black pepper, crushed rock, backing spice round out the Syrah-dominant wine. Dark chocolate on the palate with a hint of plum finish. Solid acid ready to mellow over the first few months in bottle.

2021 Kaia Lee
Blend of 60% Zin, 20% Malbec and 20% Syrah. Aged for 15 months in American and Hungarian Oak. Pepper and umami on the nose with the palate offering blue and dark fruit (dark red strawberry and blueberry).  Finish rounds out with an almost bourbon and chocolate back to back hit with brown sugar and raw chocolate at the end. Smooth nose and strong acid ready to smooth out.

2021 Petite Sirah
Aged 15 months in a blend of new and once-used American Oak. Nice nose of concord grape jelly, blueberry muffin, canned blueberries…basically all things blue (except Smurfs:) and sweet red/orange bell pepper. More blueberry on the palate followed by chocolate torte, and chocolate covered cherries.

2021 SFR
Blend of 50% Petite Sirah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, and 15% Zinfandel.  The nose greets you with black raspberry and mint, chocolate, sweet tobacco, sweet cigar and a tiny bit of pipe tobacco smoke. Well-integrated tannins with not-overbearing acid lends this to a porch pounder on a rainy day or that steak you’ve been waiting to grill thanks to its richness.  The finish rounds out with cinnamon…If the Sh*t hits the fan this is your comfort wine.

2021 Syrah
Aged in 60% American Oak and 40% Hungarian Oak. The 2021 Syrah greets you aromatically with leather, earthiness, crushed pepper, green pepper, fresh blackberry and fig newton while hitting your palate with blackberry tart and finishing with black pepper. Lamb meatball with blackberry sauce and a hint of mint pairs great!

2021 Petite Cab
60% Petite Sirah, 40% Cab aged for 15 months in a blend of French and American Oak. Chocolate, raspberry, vanilla cola, new leather, blue flower and blue fruit greet you on the nose along with blueberry muffin.  The silky tannins on the palate slowly give way to the cacao chocolate finish. 

2021 Lajur
40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petite Sirah, 15% Zinfandel, 15% Syrah. Blended from the single barrel select (our selected best of the best barrel of each) of each varietal. Fresh black and blueberry, creamy blue cheese that’s more earthy than funky, slightly burnt charcoal. Fruity with blue and blackberry and a touch of chocolate round out the Lajur.

2022 Viognier
Golden pear, golden apple, banana bread, beeswax, pineapple and tropical fruit on the nose. The palate is well-rounded with baking spice (cinnamon, nutmeg), rich creamier fruits like banana and mango or papaya, with a a silky mouthfeel. Great with white fish or a rich white cream pasta. Will also pair well with an arugula or spinach salad with pear or quince. 

 

Summer Release:

2022 Sigh-La Rosé
92% Grenache, 8% Graciano. A portion of the proceeds for the Sigh-La benefit Dana Farber Cancer Center through Jaksaa.org. Club discounts not offered on the Sigh-La in light of the charitable focus of this wine. Produced to honor the powerhouse our friend Saila Consalvi who pioneered living life to the fullest and support lung cancer research. This rosé offers a very floral nose not unlike plumeria and lavender with hints of strawberry, banana and watermelon candied fruit. The palate lends itself to more of the fruity side with very round and nice acidity, creaminess and minerality.

 

Fall Release Wines:

2021 Zinfandel 
100% Zinfandel aged for 15 months in 85% Hungarian Oak and 15% American Oak. The nose offers thin mints chocolate, vanilla bean, lavender, violet in a desert-like feeling. Initially a more relaxed Zinfandel with restraint and almost amarone-like. Allow to decant for 1-2 hours and it becomes lively and fruity.

2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon with a hint of Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc interspersed. Aged in 70% American Oak and 30% French Oak. Dark color with juniper and a very savory nose. Balanced acid will allow it to smooth out over time. Cola, sugarcane root and anise on the palate. Let this decant while cooking up your breakfast ahead of dinner in the evening and taste the boldness as it opens.

2021 Tuscan Joy
Blend of 34% Sangiovese, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon and 33% Syrah. As the Tuscan opens up spiced cherry with sweet smokiness and bell pepper reveal themselves. The palate offers balanced tannins and acid with a dry feel along with pomegranate and white pepper to round it out.  The finish culminates with a green olive note.

2021 Good Times
Your Paso Bordeaux rendition! Blend of 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Malbec, and 10% Cabernet Franc. Mint-like nose with mesquite, BBQ and Cayenne. Violet and blueberry evolve into a palate of blackberry, charcoal, mint and is ready to expand over time.  Strong acid and tannins are well-integrated completing this beauty of a wine.

2021 Daydream
Blend of 50% Zinfandel, 20% Merlot, 20% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah. The bouquet leans towards floral with plumeria and violet but when it hits the palate you may notice vanilla, blackberry, raspberry and pomegranata.  This is an easy drinker and if you like The Prisoner wine, this is our version!

2021 Primitivo
Black olive, blueberry, with a complex nose of perfume or cologne lead the way. Well balanced silky tannins and acid. Cocao finishes it off leading you to feature it with roasted duck, lamb curry or a pasta puttanesca.

2021 Tempranillo
Charcoal, BBQ, brisket on the nose along with tobacco leaf and green savory herbs like oregano, rosemary and sage. Great camping wine with nice acid, and a floral finish with violet, lavender and wildflower notes. Perfect with a grilled steak with rosemary or your favorite thanksgiving turkey.

2020 Malbec Barrel Select
Violet, baking space, blue plum and a hint of a gentlemen’s cologne on the nose! The palate offers great minerality, freshly rained upon stone…Great for a lover of Malbec!  Aged for twice as long in barrel for 30 months in Hungarian and French oak.
