This dark, rich and fruit-heavy aroma blended with smokey meat characteristics was aged for 30 months in American Oak. Minerality greets your nose followed by full tannins, sweet aromas of dates and blueberry pie with spicy aromas of cinnamon stick ending with an espresso-like finish.

2019 Zinfandel Reserve
For 30 months, our Zin has been aged in 100% Hungarian oak which offers a smooth mouthfeel greeting your first sip with white pepper, black berry jam and a spicy fruit mix on the palate. Full tannins and ripe flavors lead to a hint of vanilla.

2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
Asleep for 30 months in 50/50 American and French Oak, expect full body, tobacco leaf, cocoa and mint. Black cherry, rich tannins with lively acidity.
2020 Zinfandel
On the nose dark fruits of blackberry, blueberry, black fig and dark raisin leap out of the glass. Spicy aromas of black pepper, star anise and raw cinnamon combined with floral notes of dried rose, violets, and lavender create a beautiful complexity to the wine. On the palate, there is a slight sweetness that rounds out the full body of the wine. The tangy acidity makes the fruit pop on the palate. On the finish flavors of blueberry pie with a sugared rimmed crust make you want to sip more and more!
Pair this with: Lamb or short ribs with a tangy BBQ sauce.
2020 Syrah – Released April 2022
Purple belly with magenta hues. Aromas of mixed berries combined with savory aromas of black olive, black pepper, portobello mushroom, truffle, and roasted eggplant lead to a complex nose. Hints of balsam and violets. Savory palate and finish with flavors of black olive, black pepper, and savory herbs making this a perfect food pairing wine.
Pair this with: Pasta puttanesca
2020 Tuscan Joy – 75% Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Released February 2022
On the nose the 2020 Tuscan Joy offers bright aromas of plump red cherries and vanilla cherry cola with hints of mocha and toasted coconut. Herbal and spice notes of eucalyptus and cracked black pepper blended with earthy aromas of bark and forest floor. On the palate, the tannins are soft with a bright acidity giving the wine structure. Espresso grounds and dark cocoa linger on the finish.
Pair this with: A peppered flank steak with grilled vegetables.
2020 Tempranillo – Released April 2022
Aged in 50% Hungarian Oak and 50% American Oak. Great balance of leather and fruit on the nose and palate. Notes of fresh flowers, red fruit, cherry, dried fig and tomato on the nose. Leather, tobacco and clove on the palate.
Pair this with: Grilled pork chops, lamb, vegetarian pastas. Or toss a Digiorno’s pizza in the oven.
2020 SFR – 50% Petite Sirah, 20% Cab, 20% Syrah, 10% Zinfandel – Released February 2022
If you know, you know…and if you don’t, the SFR is our S**t-Faced Red 🙂 Aromas of black cherry, cranberry, and plump ripe strawberry with savory herbal and spice aromas of pink peppercorn, balsam, dried oregano, thyme and sage. The nose also has notes of potpourri, dried rose, violet and plumeria. This red blend has a full palate of structured tannins, juicy acidity and warmth. The finish has savory notes of black pepper accompanied by dark raw chocolate bitters.
Pair this with: A rough week at work or let it stand up to meatier pairings. Maybe grab your favorite person and enjoy on its own on a cool fall evening or cold winter night by the fireplace.
2020 Primitivo – Released February 2022
Initial aromas of blackberries and blueberries leap out of the glass and evolve to more earthy and herbal elements of eucalyptus, thyme and incenses. As the wine rests, more savory spices of clove, cinnamon and pepper begin to take center stage. On the palate, the tannins are well integrated to give the wine nice structure. The flavors of blackberry and black currant linger to a complex finish with hints of vanilla and slight minerality.
Pair this with: Roast duck with a berry compote or with BBQ’d lamb.
2020 Petite Cab – 60% Petite Sirah, 40% Cab – Released February 2022
Rustic fruit aromas of black mission figs, black plum and black currant blended with fresh floral aromas of purple roses and plumeria. As the wine evolves in the glass, sweet aromas of vanilla bean, baking spices, graham cracker and cocoa powder develop. This wine brings memories of summer or winter campfires with s’mores. On the palate, this full body and juicy red blend has velvety tannins with a beautiful complex finish of fig, black pepper and cocoa.
Pair this with: The full body of this wine lends itself perfectly with a porterhouse steak, bison or short ribs. These meatier red meats would be deliciously paired with a smoked, herbal rub.
2020 Petite Sirah – Released April 2022
Sweet aromas of dates, blueberry compote, and blueberry pie is accentuated of spicier aromas of cinnamon stick and anise. These spices are shown in their candied aromas of red hots (cinnamon) and black licorice (anise). These sweet and spicy aromas are rounded out with a finish of cocoa and toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is dry with juicy acidity that lead to a pleasant flavors of cherry cola and chocolate covered black cherries.
Pair this with: Dessert! A bitter-sweet chocolate torte or chocolate covered cherries or berries. Or do it Kory-style and stuff as many caramel candies in your mouth at once and fill the empty space with our Petite Sirah 🙂
2020 Malbec – Released April 2022
Aged 60% in Hungarian Oak, 40% American Oak. Rose petals and plump, dark baked black fruits the 2020 Malbec is dry and full-bodied. Tobacco, dark chocolate and a hint of vanilla round out the palate.
Pair this with: Lean meats like turkey or roasted pork…Or a dish with melted blue cheese.
2020 Lajur – 50% Cab, 25% Syrah, 25% Petite Sirah – Released April 2022
Blended from the best of our best barrel selections of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah and Syrah. Three of our legacy grapes make up the Lajur for 2020. The three big varietals of the LAJUR red blend bring a complex nose and palate into the glass. To digest this glass, the initial fruit aromas are tart red fruits like red cranberry and red currant. Savory aromas of roasted root vegetables, eggplant, Portobello mushrooms and black olive develop as the wine evolves in the glass. The wine has a beautiful minerality of crushed rocks and graphite. The aromas are rounded out by toasted coconut and vanilla from the barrel. This full-bodied red blend has juicy acidity, well structured tannins, and a savory finish. This wine can be enjoyed now or be aged for 5-7 years and will be even more savory and rounder with velvety tannins.
Pair this with: This is a great wine to pair with hearty root vegetable dishes or stews.
2020 Kaia Lee Zinfandel – Dudley Vineyard – Released February 2022
This is a Zinfandel for Cabernet lovers! On the nose, herbal aromas of fresh mint and eucalyptus lead to a beautiful bouquet of fresh leaves, violets and rose. Red fruits of cranberry, bright red strawberry, and raspberry. On the palate, this is a lighter body Zin with a more savory finish of pink peppercorn, herbs of rosemary and thyme. Proceeds benefit Jaksaa.org. This wine is available as an add-on to club orders or in non-club shipments. No discounts available.
Pair this with: Any Easter or Thanksgiving meal! Roast chicken or turkey with a cranberry sauce.
2020 El Rendon – Formerly Menage-a-Bunch: 35% Cab, 35% Petite Sirah, 15% Syrah, 15% Zinfandel – Released April 2022
For nearly 20 years our vineyard has been managed by Mauricio Rendon and as an homage to the amazing work he’s done, we have renamed the Menage-a-Bunch wine as El Rendon. Same blend, new name!
This robust red blend lends a complex nose and juicy expressive palate. On the nose, aromas of black plum, fig and dates are spiced up with notes of cinnamon, clove and cardamon. Herb and floral notes of sage, oregano and small purple flowers like lavender and violets. This is a full-bodied red blend that can be enjoyed now or aged for 3-5 years. Savory and meatier finish.
Pair this with: Lasagna Bolognese or spaghetti Bolognese and spicy Italian meatballs. Or if you’re Mauricio, that Modelo sitting next to you 🙂
2020 Cabyrah – Released February 2022
Nose filled with black currant, cassis and cedar that jump out of the glass. On the mid-palate truffle is present and finishes off with just a hint of mint.
2020 Cabernet Sauvignon – Released February 2022
Beautiful aromas of black plum, black cherry, fig and date blended with savory notes of black pepper, coffee grounds and dark chocolate. Herbal and earthy aromas of tobacco leaf and cacao. This Cabernet has a full body and structured palate. The finish is lengthy with flavors of dark chocolate and espresso.
Pair this with: A meaty steak or brisket with a coffee rub.
2019 Zinfandel Reserve – Released March 2022
Aged for 30 months in 100% Hungarian Oak. The extra 15 months of aging gives the 2019 Zinfandel a smoother mouthfeel along with blue and spicy fruits, white pepper and blackberry jam.
